This 1938 Lincoln-Zephyr started life as a coupe and became the subject of a custom street rod build carried out in the 1990s by Dave Iverson of South Dakota. This 1947 Chrysler Town & Country convertible was owned in Ohio from 1962 through the early 1990s, and it was refurbished during the 1990s. The current owner bought the car in 2005 and had difficulty managing its Fluid Drive transmission and unassisted steering, so the vehicle was stored for ten years before being modified in 2015 with the installation of a 727 TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission.
